Combine all above with half to three quarters a tin of chopped tomatoes, good desert spoon of natural yoghourt and about a pint of coconut milk and simmer till meat is tender. I did it for about 5 hours in the slow cooker
SITH you can get the ingredients in France our best nearest place is the asian supermarket behind Conforama in Limoges. They do do some stuff in the supermarkets too - but at a price. I will be taking plenty of stuff back with me though
Mmmm... sound like the sort of thing I could cobble nip home and cobble together in my lunch break then leave to cook slowly till din-dins. Will definitely give it a go.

Cool!
Um, what's beef madras?
Oh, yum. I bet it's far superior to my luminous Green Curry.
So will you be sharing this recipe for loveliness with your devoted but hungry readers?
Sounds good so I guess you will be stocking up with those ingredients to take back with you, or are they available in France? Well done!
Great - and ya - what are they?
LOL I just noticed kitt's and Aims comments, and I guess the uninitiated might assume you have learnt a new dance or...er...something! :)
Kitt and Aims it's a kind of curry medium hot. Hotter than a Korma but cooler than a Vindaloo
Jen It's not very cheffy
Two large onions, two teaspoons of minced ginger, three cloves of garlic finely chopped all fried very gently in butter for about 20 mins till all soft
Add two teaspoons chilli powder 1 teaspoon garum masala, 2 tablespoons Madrass Curry Powder
Meanwhile brown meat in seperate pan
