Climbing ladders, using power tools, leaving the door open and walking in the woods after dark. Whilst sticking peas up my nose.
It all looks fab, well done. How have made the pie filling and how long will it last in jars? I will have a glut of apples later in the year and could do the same.
Is it still cool there? I can't imagine canning here right now. Bravo on the productivity. How very satisfying that must be.
What lovely elbows you have!
Debra the pie filling is just the fruit, sugar and some lemon juice should keep assuming I have a good seal you can add stuff to thicken it up but I thought I'd do that when I made the pies I'll fill you in on the details next time I see youKitt no it's warmed up nicely about 30 degrees now but the house is comparatively cool due to the 2 foot thick stone walls Mangonel Thank you they really are my best feature although I also have a left shoulder blade that is a miracle of loveliness :)
