The fruits of our labours

It all looks fab, well done. How have made the pie filling and how long will it last in jars? I will have a glut of apples later in the year and could do the same.

Debra the pie filling is just the fruit, sugar and some lemon juice should keep assuming I have a good seal you can add stuff to thicken it up but I thought I'd do that when I made the pies I'll fill you in on the details next time I see you

Kitt no it's warmed up nicely about 30 degrees now but the house is comparatively cool due to the 2 foot thick stone walls

Mangonel Thank you they really are my best feature although I also have a left shoulder blade that is a miracle of loveliness :)

i made jam using half apricots, half oranges, sugar and spices...visit my village it's called Plumpiemousie, and Alexiabeille makes nice jam...
